Changing tab on item click

I have several tabs with data that populates from SQL queries. I want to be able to change the visible tab when an item is selected, but I'm not see any function to do that. Is this possible, and if so, where do I find the documentation for it?

@SamuraiCrow: You can do this easier now. Just write Pageview.Active and let autolinks automatically add the link for you.
