XML Editor

Post by Dave »

I struggle a bit with XML, formatting mainly. Can somebody please recommend a good editor which they use.

Will there be an official drag and drop designer anytime for rapagui, or is anybody working on one themselves?

Or perhaps one day would the Hollywood editor be able to format XML files, colour coded syntax?

Thanks

There have been several attempts at that but AFAIK nothing really materialised.

Very unlikely. Implementing syntax highlighting for Hollywood was a lot of work. I almost certainly won't do that again for XML because there are dozens of editors that can do that already.

Look up "RapaEdit" on my GitHub. It's not finished but it's easily extended by design.
I'm on registered MorphOS using FlowStudio.
