RNOPublisher is an easy-to-use PDF publishing program.

Features:

- Freely placeable text boxes, images, PDF links, and graphical objects
- PDF links can point to document pages or web links
- Supports base fonts that don't affect the file size
- Custom TTF fonts can be embedded into documents
- PDF outlines (table of contents) support
- User creatable page templates
- PDF exporting supports passwords and compression options
- Constrained mouse movement and resizing using qualifier keys
- Additional document saving and loading in its own format
- Drag & drop loading of documents, pictures, and text files

The program is available for AROS (the initiative came from them), MorphOS, OS4, 68k+RTG, and WarpOS+RTG.

Check the homepage for an example PDF file produced with the program and for download links (they should start working today or tomorrow when the uploads are accepted).

If it uses MUI Royale it will not work on Windows. If it uses RapaGUI then there's hope.
I'm on registered MorphOS using FlowStudio.

It's made with MUI Royale, so not going to happen that easily. I still haven't looked RapaGUI that well... I don't know if everything in this program would be doable with it too.

I know I would get a wider audience with Windows programs, but where's the fun in that ;) I want to encourage people to use Amiga compatibles for something instead of just doing everything on Windows :)

Very useful application. I have created several pages with RNOPublisher already.
Is it possible to make it more WYSIWYG? I often get an info that my document doesn't fit the page size while it looks to fit perfectly.

Cool, nice to hear that!

It's difficult, because Hollywood and PDF (Polybios/libHaru) render texts in different way. It also depends of the used font how big the difference is and in which way it differs... Maybe I could calculate some output dimensions and try to tune them a bit closer in a way or another, but it'd be quite PITA work and might not work as user would like in all cases...

In any case I detect if rendering fails and I've made the requester to tell if texts won't fit in their text boxes in the PDF... and usually it's enough just to make your text boxes a bit wider to fix the issue. Just have some extra space always in the boxes when you look them at the RNOPublisher window.
