Designer applet and bgpic

When trying to create an applet from Designer it will complain about missing bgpic file when running.
"can not read bg1.png"
If I run the hwa file from the same dir as the backgrounds folder is located, then it will work.

How to get the pictures included into the applet in Designer?

Project -> Properties -> Linker -> Link all data files to program
