Planning on buying the whole suite of Hollywood apps and using fsuae & VirtualBox, what versions of windows will the developer run in?

Yes, Hollywood 10 runs on Windows 7-x64 bits using the plugins of x64, but to run in other system you must buy the full pack to run the enviroment on Linux, Amiga 68k, MorphOS, but the best option is to buy only the Windows version.

Hollywood is 100% compatible with Windows 7. You can even use it on Windows XP. Compatibility with older operating systems has a very high priority here so Windows 7 is fine for Hollywood.

Great news. Thanks. I also have a Win8.1 image so I assume that 8.1 works too If I want to develop on say linux, but deploy on all the supported platforms, what Hollywood packages do I need to buy?

and answer to your question, you need update from 8.1 to 10 to can use the last Hollywood plugins, because some them need Hollywood 9.x, Linux hasn't an IDE as the Windows version, you need one text editor, because the Hollywood IDE using Wine isn't run fine, because to save the proyects and running the program is inside the Wine Box, the best option is develop your project on Windows and pass to Linux, but care, some things or instructions works different way in each system, on Windows all work fine, but the same code in other systems need different way to do the work.
